Scott J Bell has more than 30 years’ experience in both residential renovations and boat building. He attended and graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art in 1986 with a degree in sculpture, which has informed his work and design approach. Scott was part of the Carbon Ocean Yachts build team in Bristol RI , vacuum laminating the composite class 40 racing sailboat “Longbow,” which is now in Newport, RI.

Scott’s work as a cabinetmaker, builder and residential remodeling contractor has always dovetailed with the marine trade, where high quality craft and design assure crew safety and lasting vessel value. Both quality design and craft in the field are equally important in his work on residential renovations for many of the same reasons. He enjoys collaborating with clients and designers to craft custom solutions for every home.
